I was in the final year of my degree when financial difficulties made it hard to continue. That is when the NED Scholars Program, led by Dr. Sohail, came forward and supported me, not just financially, but in every way. They helped me complete my graduation, supported me through my Master's degree, provided me with a laptop, arranged mentoring, and even gave me an internship that started my professional journey.
During my time with NED Scholars, I also got the opportunity to learn new skills through courses in Raspberry Pi, Power BI, Python, and Amal Academy. I also had the honour of serving as President of NED Scholars (2022–2023), which taught me a great deal about leadership and working with people. Today, I volunteer as a facilitator at the NED Scholars Coaching Centre, where I try to support current scholars the same way I was once supported.
I have been working as a Physics Teacher at Army Public School & College for the past three years. This role has allowed me to stand on my own feet and support my family financially. None of this would have been possible without NED Scholars Organization. I am truly grateful to Dr. Sohail and the entire NED Scholars Organization for their support and belief in me. This program changes lives, and I am living proof of that.
